Manual approval is the gate
Prepared applications land in Action Required. You review missing fields, confirm answers, and approve. Status only becomes Applied after a confirmed ATS submission you authorized — or after you answer “Did you apply?” when detection is unsure.
You can resume, retry, or leave a ticket waiting. Nothing in the queue submits because time passed.
Built on real ATS discovery
Jobs are pulled from curated company boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday) and LinkedIn roles you ingest with the extension — then matched to your search criteria and memory. See ATS job search.
Prefill from Career Memory
Apply answers and learned questions live in Career Memory so preparation reuses your phone, authorization, salary, links, and prior form answers instead of starting blank every time. Unknown fields stay on the ticket until you fill them.
Greenhouse API submit is gated
A live POST to Greenhouse’s public Job Board API is opt-in, off by default, dry-run by default, and still needs explicit per-application approval plus an audit log row. It is not on for Lever, Ashby, Workday, or LinkedIn. Read Greenhouse job tracker for the board-side story.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Auto Apply submit without me?
- No. Silent auto-submit is forbidden. Discovery and preparation can run continuously; submission only happens after you explicitly approve.
- What is assisted vs manual apply mode?
- Manual means you drive apply yourself (often with the Chrome extension). Assisted means MyCareerAtlas discovers matching roles, prepares the application, and queues it for your approval.
- Which job sources are supported?
- Discovery from curated Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday boards, plus LinkedIn jobs ingested via the Chrome extension.
- Where do I approve prepared applications?
- In Action Required and on the application Career Ticket — review fields, fill gaps, then approve, resume, or retry.
- Can Lever or Ashby auto-submit via API?
- No. Those stay extension-assisted or manual. Only Greenhouse has an opt-in Job Board API path, off by default.
