Remote job search

Remote is a filter on real company boards — not a scraped “work from home” marketplace. Match against Career Memory, then apply with you still in control.

Remote is a criterion, not a separate product

A job search already includes titles, locations, remote preference, experience range, salary floor, keywords, and exclusions. Remote is one of those filters — the same loop as any other search: Career Memory → discovery → match WHY → apply → learn → return.

Onboarding and new searches default remote on so you are not retyping “remote” every week. You can turn it off when you want on-site or hybrid roles in a specific city.

Where remote jobs come from

Discovery reads curated public boards on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday. LinkedIn remote roles ingest when you open them — there is no LinkedIn search API. Indeed and Glassdoor remote indexes are out of scope.

The catalog stores the remote signal the company published. That is what matching uses. See ATS job search.

What “remote” actually means

Companies mix fully remote, hybrid, remote-US, and “remote” that still requires a time zone. MyCareerAtlas does not rewrite those rules into a global work-from-anywhere promise. The JD and the board’s location fields stay on the role so you can decide.

Search, match, return

Remote matches still get dimension scores, a WHY, and missing skills. Recommended excludes roles you already applied to or rejected. Listings not seen in 14 days drop out. Daily matches stay capped.

Assisted Auto Apply can prepare matching remote applications and wait for your approval. Silent submit is forbidden. See job search automation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I search only remote jobs?
Yes. Job searches include a remote preference. Discovery and matching use the remote signal from ATS boards when the company published it.
Where do remote listings come from?
Curated public Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday boards, plus LinkedIn roles you open with the Chrome extension. Indeed and Glassdoor are out of scope.
Does remote mean fully remote worldwide?
No. Companies publish their own location and remote rules. The catalog stores the remote signal from the board — it does not rewrite a US-only remote role into “anywhere.”
Will I get a firehose of remote listings?
No. Recommended excludes applied and rejected roles. Stale listings (not seen in 14 days) stay out. Daily matches stay capped so you can return tomorrow.
