Onboarding and new searches default remote on so you are not retyping “remote” every week. You can turn it off when you want on-site or hybrid roles in a specific city.
Where remote jobs come from
Discovery reads curated public boards on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday. LinkedIn remote roles ingest when you open them — there is no LinkedIn search API. Indeed and Glassdoor remote indexes are out of scope.

What “remote” actually means
Companies mix fully remote, hybrid, remote-US, and “remote” that still requires a time zone. MyCareerAtlas does not rewrite those rules into a global work-from-anywhere promise. The JD and the board’s location fields stay on the role so you can decide.

Remote matches still get dimension scores, a WHY, and missing skills. Recommended excludes roles you already applied to or rejected. Listings not seen in 14 days drop out. Daily matches stay capped.
