Recommended is not “jobs we found on the internet.” It is the output of your job searches against a catalog of curated ATS boards — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday — plus LinkedIn postings you opened with the extension.

WHY, not a mystery score
Each recommended role includes dimension scores, a WHY, and missing skills taken from JD requirement phrases versus skills you confirmed in Career Memory. The point is a decision you can defend: pursue, save, or skip.

- Not interested — drop it from Recommended
- Already applied — keep the pipeline honest

Applied and rejected roles stay out of the feed so you are not re-deciding yesterday.
Daily return, capped on purpose
A daily matches surface shows a small, recent set so coming back tomorrow is possible. Catalog roles last seen more than 14 days ago are excluded. Automation that never stops notifying is just noise — see job search automation.
When the feed is empty
Discovery status on searches and jobs shows whether boards and the worker are producing results. An unseeded board directory will not invent jobs. Widen titles, check remote/location filters, or open a posting you found by hand.
