Privacy Policy
MyCareerAtlas is built around private career data. This page summarizes how we handle information in the product.
Overview
We collect account details you provide (such as email and profile information) and career data you upload or generate in the product (including resumes, Career Memory, job snapshots, learned application answers, and application records) to operate the service.
Chrome extension
The MyCareerAtlas Chrome extension reads job posting and application form context on supported sites (for example LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday) only when you use the product. It may capture field labels and the answers you provide so Career OS can reuse them later. It does not collect passwords, payment card numbers, or government ID fields. The extension communicates with MyCareerAtlas servers using your signed-in session. Host permissions are limited to job and application sites needed for detect, analyze, and apply-assist features.
How we use data
Data is used to provide Career Memory, job discovery, apply assist, application tracking, and related product features. We do not sell your personal career data. You can review, correct, or remove learned answers from Career Memory in the product.
Try-it-first job match demo
The homepage lets you paste a job URL and upload a resume without creating an account, to see a match score. We store the resume you upload and analyze it (along with any contact details it contains, such as an email or phone number) to compute that score and to understand how the feature is used. We may use the contact details from a resume submitted this way to send you information about MyCareerAtlas.
Retention and control
You control Career Memory and apply-answer data in the web app. Export and account deletion options are available from Settings where supported. We retain data only as needed to operate the service you use.
