Use assisted when you want continuous prepare-and-notify. Use manual when you want to apply yourself with the Chrome extension. Both land in Career Tickets — the same CRM for follow-through.
Applied means you confirmed it
In MyCareerAtlas, Applied is not “the bot clicked Apply.” High confidence can sync. Medium and low ask “Did you apply?” That keeps your pipeline honest and your reputation intact.

- Is this fully automatic apply?
- No. Assisted Auto Apply discovers and prepares. You must manually approve before anything is submitted. Silent auto-submit is not allowed.
- Why not let a bot submit for me?
- Blind submit burns reputation, mis-answers screening questions, and applies to weak fits. Approval keeps quality and control with you.
- What do I still do manually?
- Review prepared applications, fill missing answers, choose resume context when needed, and approve. You can also stay on manual apply mode and use the Chrome extension only.
- Does Greenhouse API submit run in production by default?
- No. ATS_API_SUBMIT_ENABLED defaults to off and dry-run defaults to on. Live POST still needs per-application approval and an audit row.
